Anne Waldman -- Uh-Oh Plutonium! (1982)

This is a fix of a music video posted by DeepDishTV. The audio on the original was barely discernible without maxing the volume settings on YouTube and my PC, and even then it was faint. I replaced the audio with a better sounding recording and attempted to sync with the video as much as possible, even though the performance is clearly lip-synced. Also where the original video cuts off abruptly, I tacked on footage gleaned from earlier segments.
WEEI roasts Suzyn Waldman

Glenn Ordway, Steve Buckley, Pete Sheppard and Tony Mazz of WEEI 850 in Boston absolutely hammered her on The Big Show on Tuesday 10/9/07. Following the Yankees elimination in the ALDS, the former Red Sox fan-turned-Yankees broadcaster started crying over Joe Torre's imminent axing, and whimpered her way through the postgame show on WCBS radio, the Yankees' flagship station.

Leibele Waldman ~ Wedding Ceremony ~

Siman Tov U Mazal Tov - Leibele Waldman's Wedding Ceremony As his weekly radio programs, recordings and movies gained in popularity, Leibele Waldman soon became a household name. In addition to requests for Shabbat & Holiday "davinings" and concerts in the country and Canada, there was great demand for him to perform at weddings that he always did with a choir, most often at many of the famed hotels and leading catering halls in New York and in cities around the country. The Waldman wedding was unique in that those present felt the sanctity and beauty of the ceremony with each note he sang. Note: The brachos begin at T:5:45. Cantor Leibele Waldman- Odom Yesodo Meofar

Cantor Louis Waldman was born on June 22, 1907 in New York of a family of Galician immigrants. Growing up on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Leibele (Louis) Waldman was recognized as a "wunderkind", officiating at the pulpit with a choir by the age of nine. He began his studies as a youngster at an institution later known as the East Side Talmud Torah and subsequently at the Yeshiva of Rabbi Shlomo Klieger. It was during this period that his inherent musical and hazzanic talents were first noticed. Affectionately referred to as Leibele (as he would be throughout his career), the young hazandl began to appear with frequency in a number of local synagogues. Realizing the importance of a musical background he then studied music and sulfeggio (sight reading) with a local East Side musician, Shabbtai Weingarten. Befriended and influenced by the great Cantor Yossele Roseblatt, Waldman went on to develop his own distinctive style which is still influencing cantors today. A lyric baritone, Waldman's amazing vocal range, coloratura, flawless falsetto and sweet voice allowed him great flexibility interpreting prayers that have become "standards". His renditions of Ki Lekach Tov, Sarfe Maloh, Odom Y'sodo Meofer, L'fichoch Anachnu and Hineni (s'firah) are just a few of the many Waldman masterpieces. His skilled improvisations at the pulpit prompted one cantor to state, "When listening to Waldman, I felt as though I was being transported into another realm as Waldman pleaded for his ...
