This weekend, Pico highlights the pace of action in the worlds of: Guild Wars 2, Diablo 3's last Beta weekend (whose release is a mere two weeks away) and also Mass Effect 3's "Operation Exorcist", a big deal for players on PC & Xbox 360. Within World of Warcraft, there's some happenings concerning Battle Pet Training and Track Pets. Minecraft, for the 2nd week running, is all about changes to its Pocket Edition, in particular the implimentional of the main version's key feature: the crafting system. She's also flagging up a League of Legends update, the new look of Galio but also changes to his stats. Then we have the excitement for EA & Crytek making public the plans and setting for the third game in the Crysis series, set to release early next year. On the other end of the games development scale, our Indie Game Highlight this week is Jeff Minter's latest AppStore release, FIVE A DAY for the iPad. Jeff is the eccentric mind behind the micro studio Llamasoft. His personal gameography goes all the way back to 1981, the boom years of 8bit home computers.
