The year is still young, but soon the first quarter of 2011 will end and Realtors will begin poring over sales data for signs of the real estate market's health. In mid-March, Prudential Rubloff agent Eric Rojas and YoChicago's Joe Askins visited Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood for a look at one of Eric's newest listings. Later in the day, they walked around the neighborhood, and Eric pointed out homes that represented the median and high price points for Wicker Park's single-family homes market.

Wicker Park meets Gold Coast in our latest video—showcasing color by Stacie Dybala and a rocker-chic cut by stylist Rivkah Lyles. "The cut is a little edgy, a little avant-garde, but it's definitely feminine," says stylist Rivkah Lyles. "For a few years, everywhere you looked it was graduated bobs—this look is really just the next step in that trend." According to Rivkah, it's about keeping some length in the front but taking it really short in the back for a look that's a little more extreme and a lot more rock and roll. She layered throughout so our model would be able to play with the texture, giving her a very versatile haircut. When our model came in, she hadn't colored her hair in a while, but had some outgrowth to take care of. "I kept the base a very dark tone, with some red to it," said Stacie, "Then I added some color blocking in a rich purple tone and a neon pink, close enough to her bangs that it had some punch to it—but still very wearable."
