Wolfenstein 2009 Gameplay (PC HD) Wolfenstein is a science fiction first-person shooter video game co-developed by Raven Software, id Software, Pi Studios and Endrant Studios and published by Activision. It is the sequel to Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and uses the id Tech 4 engine. The game was released in North America on August 18, Australia on August 19 and Europe on August 21, in 2009. Wolfenstein is a story driven first-person shooter. The story is told through cutscenes, scripted events, telegraph messages, and intelligence that the player finds scattered throughout the game. What it is: A gameplay video of Wolfenstein 3D Level 60 (Episode 6, Level 10), the last secret level of thegame. Done in a single run, from a pistol start, and on Death Incarnate difficulty. Game was invoked with -hard -tedlevel 59 parameters for this. How was it done: Emulated and recorded with DOSBox 0.70, the resulting AVI file with the ZMBV codec was decompressed using Virtual Dub 1.7.1 and later recompressed again with Windows Movie Maker in WMV format with a 512 KBits Bitrate. Additional Info: Only level in the entire Wolfenstein 3D where you meet both Mutants and Officers together (Only God knows why Mutants were introduced only for Episode 2 when they are actually HARDER than Officers). I did an almost complete visit to the level. I killed the three Hans Grosse, and uncovered the Pacman Ghost before going to the exit. Some parts of the level were left untouched though, like the other set of doors at the white wooden hall that are independent and doesn't connect to the third Hand Grosse, the passage with vines that is home to a few more Mutants, and attemping to take the two extra lifes that are in the room where the Pacman Ghost appears. Besides, depending on how well you do on the maze of the Pacman Ghost, a pushwall may block one of the three extra lifes and you can only take two like I did (So yes, I screwed it). Also, while recording in the vines area, the frame rate got lowered consistently, this affected the video recording. Finally, the second Hand Grosse <b>...</b>

The folks at id have poured a lot of creativity into Wolfenstein to make a first person shooter that stands out from the crowd, and thanks to the massive dose of style and awesomeness they've done just that. Return to Castle Awesomestein! Slaughter Nazi bad guys with a variety of WWII weapons and some serious sci-fi type stuff like particle beams. Use your Veil, upgrade your MP-40 and rock this game with some shooting mayhem. Take the time to explore and find some gold, I really dug Wolfenstein and enjoyed the storyline, gameplay and art design. I did not like the multiplayer because it was jerky, odd and strangely out of date. The maps were sloppy and overall presentation was kind of wack compared to the big multiplyer games like COD4, WAW and Halo 3 on XBLA. Aside from that I'd recommend Wolfenstein for those looking for a memorable and action packed first person shooter adventure worth playing more than once.

This hidden room is located in an area on your very first mission, and is missable afterwards because the area is closed off later. It is during the Ghost Hideout mission, where you have to go in and take out all the enemies. The video starts right after you have the defibrillator tutorial. Take out the enemies, and go close to the corner wall, next to the flat-screen TV. There is no text prompt at all, so just press the 'Interact' button when you are close. There are a couple other rooms like this in the game, with other themes (like DOOM, Quake, etc)

Information: Wolfenstein 3D (AAA Wolf3d) is the second release of ID Software. It is so famous that it is known as the "Grandfather of FPS Games". A sequel Return to Castle Wolfenstein (AAA RTCW) was released. This game came out for many ports, the PC, Mac(intosh), SNES, Jaguar, GBA, 3DO. Thousands of mods have been made as well. In this game, you play as William Joseph Blazkowicz (BJ for short). The captain of the Allied Forces. BJ is sent to Castle Wolfenstein to retrieve the plans for Operation Eisenfaust, but is captured in his attempt. In a cell, he awaits his execution, but then, BJ kicks the Nazi, grabs his knife and gun and kills him. The other Nazis don't hear you. The game takes place in WWII. In one of ID Software's later games, Doom II: Hell on Earth (AAA HoE), two levels (and songs) from Wolfenstein 3D are added. One is a secret level and the other is a super secret level. The secret level is E1M1 from Wolfenstein 3D (Shown in the video) and the nazis are replaced with SS guards. On harder difficulties, four SS guards replace the standard nazis. The song played in the level is called Evil Incarnate. The super secret level takes place in E1M9, Hans Grosse's (first boss of the game) level. A Cyberdemon replaces Hans Grosse's position and the exit is replaced with four Commander Keen (BJ's grandson, William Blazkowicz II AKA Billy Blaze) sprites hung on a rope.

Additional Info: Again, another short level. The start of this one is slighty harder because you're going against Mutants, and everyone should know that they're annoying. Hardest part is obviously when you're going for the Gold Key. The ambientation is also respetable, the Mutants taked over most of this level. According to the mod documentation, the Chaingun can get jammed, making you needing to get a new one. I usually used the Chaingun little or nothing, so I don't know if it does really happens. If anything, I would prefer to stick to the Machine Gun and avoiding the issue completely, because it wouldn't be fun if the Chaingun jammered when you most need it.
