www.HaphazardStuff.com Chapter 6 in my continuing Superhero Film series. The most popular female superhero, Wonder Woman is brought to life by Lynda Carter in the popular 1970's television series! With her bullet deflecting bracelets, magic lasso and invisible plane audiences get a chance to follow her as she fights evildoers everywhere! And at the same time prompting adolescent boys to consider that perhaps all girls aren't icky. I wouldn't technically categorize this as a Superhero Film, I mean it's a TV show, but I'm going to include it anyway because I think it's a worthwhile entry and I'm the one making up the rules for this series. I'm planning on focusing on other television shows in the future. In the 1970's television was the best place to watch superhero adventures, so there are a few I want to cover, but will just mainly focus on the pilot episodes.

www.HaphazardStuff.com Wonder Woman finally makes it to movie screens in her first big screen adventure! (Well, my attempted trailer for it anyway....) With every superhero getting their own feature film nowadays, it seems way overdue for the most iconic female superhero to get hers. Supposedly plans for a Wonder Woman film are in the works, but it still seems a long ways away that audiences will be able to watch her wield her magic lasso, deflect bullets and fly the invisible jet on the big screen. This fan trailer was motivated mainly by impatience. Since the Wonder Woman television series went off the air in 1979 the character has been pretty much absent in the live action format. Although, I can't envision anyone but Lynda Carter playing Wonder Woman (I'm not sure filmmakers will ever be able to find someone who can pull the role off and not be left stuck in Lynda's shadow), I am still anxious to see the character star in her own film. This was also done as a fun technical exercise. I went through a lot of versions of this. Besides the TV show I used some other clips to fill in the blanks and tried to make things a bit more dramatic and updated. Paradise Island was mainly shown as old stock footage on the show and Steve's arrival on the island didn't have the best effects ever. But the show did have Lynda Carter who to so many fans, is the embodiment of Wonder Woman to this day. The music is from various tracks from Immediate Music. The popular reaction by fellow <b>...</b>
