Documentary following the journey of two injured soldiers: 19-year-old Ranger Andy Allen who, in July 2008, had his right leg blown off and his eyes badly burnt by an improvised explosive device; and 24-year-old Lance Corporal Tom Neathway, who lost three limbs after moving a booby-trapped sandbag. Unconscious and watched by their families they fight for their lives, but surviving their injuries is just the beginning.

Cpl. Joshua Himan spent 18 months at Walter Reed Army Medical Center recovering from injuries suffered from an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan. The attack left him paralyzed from the chest down. He returned home to Dale City, Va, where fellow Marines and volunteers worked to renovate his family's house to allow him to easily adapt to living with his wheelchair. This episode of Biography series calls itself Wounded Genius and tells the story of famed playwright Tennessee Williams as his early hurts mount with depressing rapidity: his hard-drinking man's man of a father taunted him for being a sissy; his mentally unstable, puritanical mother loved him, but controlled him; his older sister, companion and "soul mate," suffered a mental breakdown and was institutionalized for life while they were both still in their teens. Angel or Hero? Wounded man rescued in Syria
There have been many eye witness accounts of men wearing all white helping and fighting alongside the oppressed Muslims in Syria. This is one account captured on camera. As can be seen, the area where the wounded man is lying is clear as the technique used by the army is to shoot anyone who comes to help - which is why the other men including the cameraman are hiding. This man appears wearing all white, walking slowly and calmly. He picks up the man with one arm, showing little or no effort by the way he is walking. He hands him over to the people then disappears. The situation is not normal as: a) Dressing that way in Syria right now is asking for trouble, nobody is allowed to practice their faith publicly. b) He walks calmly and slowly, showing no emotion whereas others are screaming and shouting c) He shows little effort or strain when picking up the wounded man (who would weigh approx 80kg). d) For a war torn area the man's clothes are impeccable and bright white The reaction of the men witnessing the scene says it all, AND ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA KNOWS BEST.

The Thai capital's main financial district was partially crippled following deadly grenade attacks and a tense standoff between die-hard, anti-government demonstrators and a government that has yielded vital areas of Bangkok to them. At least five grenades exploded in the city center, killing one person and wounding at least 75, as hundreds of panicked residents fled into the streets. The explosions come amid a tense standoff between Red Shirt protesters and armed government troops, in a period that has witnessed Thailand's worst political violence in two decades. More recently, a rival group of protesters has rallied in the area of the attacks, occasionally hurling missiles at the Red Shirts, creating a volatile mix. Several of the blasts were near where these rivals had gathered, under the elevated tracks of the Sky Train. Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban stated in a televised broadcast that five M79 grenades were fired from launchers within the Red Shirt encampment. Three fell through the roof of the Sky Train station, which runs above Silom Road, a fourth exploded near a five-star Dusit Thani Hotel and the fifth near a bank. Reports said the blasts killed one person, identified as a Thai woman, and wounded at least 75. Three foreigners were among the wounded. Panic was widespread as the injured were carried away.
