We are a team of experience and passion with a proven track record. We are a team with fresh ideas and a strong work ethic. We are a team of students who have dedicated their time to our campus community through clubs, sports, councils, community service and activism. By working together, we've achieved some amazing things this year. We've found a permanent home for women's-only gym time; expanded our Food Bank and the Good Food Box program; fought to expand the campus shuttle service and improve safety; and spent time on Parliament Hill, at Queen's Park and on the streets to fight to reduce tuition fees and forgive student debt. We've worked hard this year, and with your support, we want to work harder next year for you to do so much more.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with our mission statement, please take a moment to read this. We appreciate your time and interest! :) Remember to vote for FYU on March 20th-23rd at Vari Hall, Scott Library, and Student Centre. Thank you! Mission Our mission is simple. We are advocates of inclusivity and transparency within the YFS council. If elected, our meetings will involve public participation from all York students in order to fully understand and target issues within the York community. We promote a safer school with a stronger sense of community. The reputation of York is at stake and it is up to us as students, to be completely aware of all the services on campus and to advocate for improved security. We want to educate the students on the many services available at York, such as shuttle, goSAFE, and 24 hour security and thus mandate more programs to better support the safety of students. With this, we hope to prevent our school's name, "York" from being tarnished through the unnecessary depictions placed by the media which deem York as a location where students do not feel safe as a result of unlawful acts. Our motto, "Bring Drake to York", is merely a slogan and does not solidify the countless objectives we plan to initiate once elected. We are a team coming from different colleges and faculties.
