This song was recorded live at Royce Hall UCLA in 1971 and appeared on the album Harvest in 1972. This song was written about Neil's close friends Danny Whitten (Crazy Horse) and Bruce Berry (his roadie) heroin addictions. This was recorded before their deaths. And Young wrote "Tonight's the Night" after their deaths. Lyrics: I caught you knockin' at my cellar door I love you, baby, can I have some more Ooh, ooh, the damage done. I hit the city and I lost my band I watched the needle take another man Gone, gone, the damage done. I sing the song because I love the man I know that some of you don't understand Milk-blood to keep from running out. 1/5 ....His "Magnum Opus" for piano tuned to La Monte's specifications, which to my understanding is a variation on just-intonation. It is an enthralling work that I find quite easy to listen to fully though I've only done so a few times. It's a great work to have in the air if you're working on a painting or something of the like ; ).... (To channel subscribers/viewers, my apologies for videos out of order on the 'uploads' list...)
