Here I start with a loose group of spider-man action figures from the toy biz line from the 1990s. I had the entire line carded, but opened 90 percent of them due to space reasons. Next is the 1st series of spider-man movie figures from the 1st picture. Maybe in the future I'll get out my hundreds of loose marvel toy biz figures and pose them for a group shot.

Keep mewling kids out of your hair for five minutes with these extremely low-cost action figures, each blatantly ripping off various popular media franchises! First up there's Little Wizard, a frightening creature created by smashing the main characters from Harry Potter together. We shall call the outcome Harmioron, and we shall avoid eye contact with it at all times. Next, according to the packaging, is a Fire Rescue Emergency Hero. But in reality it's a maniac in a balaclava who's tooled himself up with some miscellaneous items he found in his garage. The fictional Fight Club Submission Championship is represented by "Loco" Gonzalez, ostensibly a hard-as-nails fighter but actually a loose collection of mangled body parts stuck together by a mad god. We're not 100% sure which god, but by the looks of Gonzalez it's one of the more unpleasant ones from the Lovecraft mythos. And just because we haven't suffered enough, Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat joins the team as a generic ninja with a lot of oddly coloured weaponry. Good for him! In my generation, most of us grew up playing with little soldier figures. They cost about a nickel each and they were beautifully formed. Then World War II started and they began making them out of some inferior kind of plastic, like newspaper mush. Action figures are today's popular sculpture. An they are big business. You can follow comic heroes and villains, movies, sports, any number of topics beautifully created for collecting or displaying in the comfort of your home. They're usually very pricey, but military figures can save you some money. They are available for may time periods, both historical and modern, but they usually go for somewhere between $12 and $50 (though there are more expensive figures to be had). There's x-men, fantastic four, spider-man, iron man, hulk, ghost rider, swamp-thing, x-force, marvel universe, secret wars, marvel super heroes metal figures and of course...the coneheads. And since this video I've filled every corner with dozens of 3 3/4 Marvel Universe figures as well.
