"African Battle" by Manu Dibango

"African Battle" by Manu Dibango if from a compilation album entitled "The Original Sound Of 1970's Africa", and is an extremely rare track. I apologize for the long pause after the song, didn't realize it when I uploaded it. That pause is not in the link I provided though, just so you are aware. Manu Dibango (born 12 December 1933 in Douala, Cameroon) is a Cameroonian saxophonist and vibraphone player. He developed a musical style fusing jazz, funk and traditional Cameroonian music. He is a member of the Yabassi ethnic group, though his mother was a Duala. www.megaupload.com

Manu Dibango - African Battle (Professor Kliq Re-Edit).mp3

Here, I added extra drums and TONS of extra breaks. I used a little bit of a 707 drum machine to add some punch in some sections... I wouldn't call this a remix because I wanted to keep the track the same, just longer. So It's an extended re-edit, to be completely acccurate.

The Battle of the Gnoll - Neath v South Africa [big rugby fight]

On 2 November 1994 South Africa visited the Gnoll to play Welsh club-side Neath. Within 12 months the Springboks would pick up the World Cup. However, they faced a stern test from a fired-up Neath side who narrowly lost 13-16 despite a Rhodri Jones try. However, the match is remembered not just for the Neath challenge but also for the fighting which involved all 30 players in many incidents throughout the game. At times separate fights broke out at different ends of the pitch. The Battle of the Gnoll - possibly the biggest rugby fight!

Ethiopia-The Battle of Adwa

The stunning victory at Adwa required Europeans to take Ethiopia and Africa more seriously. It not only initiated a decade of negotiations with European powers in which nine border treaties were signed, it made Europeans begin to reconsider their prejudices against Africans. It came to symbolize a rising awareness among Europeans of African political resources and yearnings and an increasing recognition of indigenous African cultural accomplishments.

Majingilane Males Lions Big Fight - Londolozi

Upon entering a clearing in the bush, there lie 5 lions, two male, three female resting next to their respective mates along with one lone male. After watching them for no more than 10 minutes one of the males lying peacefully alongside his lioness decides to get up and charge the other male who was alongside another lioness. The two males ensued into what was a very serious brawl complete with the deep growl, claws extended and blood drawn. The whole ordeal lasted about 30-45 seconds and James had told us that at least two of the five males were brothers.

Racism, Ron Paul and the Battle over the Right to Bear Arms: An Interview with Adam Winkler

"Part of the way African Americans were kept as second class citizens in America was by denying them access to guns," says Adam Winkler, author of Gunfight: The Battle over the Right to Bear Arms in America, "I think America is a violent society not because of our guns, but because of our culture." Winkler sat down with Reason.tv's Tracy Oppenheimer to "tell the amazing story of America's complicated history with guns" and share his revelations about the founding fathers, the NRA and even Ron Paul. Approximately 5.45 minutes.
