American Idol Finale Clay Aiken BEST MOMENT EVER!

This is my favorite American Idol Finale moment ever. This was the year American Idol really put together a great finale show minus the major error in Chris Daughtry not winning. Clearly Chris Daughtry should have won, everyone knows it, the record sales show it and the winner that year is almost unheard of. However, this has been my most favorite American Idol finale moment. Clay Aiken makes me smile. I just can't help myself. : )Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Visit www.claymaniacs.com There have been very many HISTORIC and memorable moments on American Idol throughout the years, but this one beats them all. Season two's runner up, Clay Aiken, surprises long time Clay Aiken fan and impersonator, Michael Sandecki. Michael had won for best impersonation of Season 5. As Sandecki receives his award, host, Ryan Seacrest asks if he would like to sing for the audience and the millions of people watching. Sandecki agrees and begins to sing Elton John's legendary song, "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me" A few seconds into the song the crowd begins to scream (Michael assumed it was for him) But the screaming really was for Clay Aiken who casually walked onto the stage behind Michael. Sandecki then turns around and sees his idol, Clay Aiken. Clay then joins in and begins singing "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me" with the star struck fan. Of course, the crowd went wild. Most would consider this to be by far one of the most incredible and exciting moments in Idol history. - ClayTakeover (Hannah) (High Definition format)
