I was at the Kansas city aviation expo/airshow (in wheeler downtown airport, KC, Missouri) on Aug 20th and witnessed a biplane crash (the airplane is the "Beast") and was piloted by Bryan Jensen. I was taking pictures and thought why not take a video even though my camera is a Sony W-350, because I loved his stunts. But no sooner did I start recording he crashed nose first. Was kind of hard to believe at first 'cause I was sure he was gonna pull it off, but unfortunately I was wrong. For a second I lowered the camera to look at the crash and then realized it was still rolling so put my camera back up to the crash scene.

Dozens more were injured when the World War Two-era plane slammed into a box-seat area in front of the main grandstand. The injured have been rushed to hospital. Out of 56 people hurt, 15 are said to be in a critical condition. Mike Houghton, president and CEO of the Reno Air Races, told a news conference that pilot Jimmy Leeward had died in the crash, Associated Press reports. The 74-year-old veteran Hollywood stunt pilot was the owner of the Leeward Air Ranch Racing Team and a well-known racing pilot. Leeward's "Galloping Ghost" plane was a P-51 Mustang fighter -- a class of plane that can fly at speeds in excess of 500 mph (800kph). Houghton said there appeared to be a "problem with the aircraft that caused it to go out of control".

A stunt biplane has lost control and plunged into a river while performing at an air-show in Poland. The small plane was doing aerobatics when it began spewing out plumes of dark smoke before plunging into the water of the Vistula River in central Poland. The only person on board was the pilot Marek Szufa, who was pulled from the water by rescuers and taken to hospital, where he later died. The air-show organizers say it is too early to say what caused the plane to crash. They also say the pilot of the biplane was a professional employed by Polish air company LOT, for which he piloted regular passenger flights. He was also a frequent participant at aerobatics championships in Poland. The accident occurred in Plock as people gathered on Saturday by for a picnic and the air show. Watch as the US Navy Blue Angels perform their first Air Show of the season over the skies of NAF El Centro. Due to high winds, Fat Albert or the C-130 that took its place for this show was not able to fly. I know I missed a lot of the shots and I do apologize for that, I ended up cutting a few parts out but nothing that would really ruin the video. By the time the blues took to the skies, winds were almost 40mph. My shotgun mic ended up breaking and is noticeable in the video, so sorry for the change in sound.
