A quick tutorial on how to hack or patch the Xbox 360 Wireless gaming controller driver to get it to work on Apple Macs and OS X. Should also work on Snow Leopard using the 0.08 driver and with the wired controller as well once you know the actual vendor & product IDs for your specific unit.
Step 1: Backup your device's data in iTunes. This is not the usual precautionary measure, you'll actually need to modify this backup in order to perform the hack. Step 2: Download iBackupBot from here: www.icopybot.com It's compatible with both Windows and Mac. Step 3: Once it's finished downloading, install and launch. Step 4: Locate your com.apple.mobileslideshow.plist file Step 5: Double click the file which will take you to the editing page. *Type exactly as I do in the video.
