In this last contest, I finished 2nd, and was invited by David Malloy, the concert organizer, to perform. The experience is amazing!! The amount of talent that come to perform is really incredible. This show included Tiffany Alvord (600000 subscribers) and Austin Mahone (200000 subscribers). And the fan support is awesome - people fly or drive in from all over North America just to attend the show, and we had about 600 fans at this one! After going through a very competitive audition process, I made the All Region honor choirs three years in a row as a soprano. Starting in early 2011, I started training to be a professional country music vocalist with vocal coaches Brett Manning and Tom McKinney. About the same time, my dad helped me launch my YouTube channel, where I perform mostly covers of some of my favorite country songs. I have a long list of favorite artists - including Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton, Jason Aldean, and Johnny Cash. I love performing live at all kinds of venues including coffee houses, Opry shows, churches, and amusement parks. I really love being able to connect with my audience through my music, and making them happy! I've also begun songwriting, and co-wrote my first original, "Paint This Town," with Rocky Martinez.
