I love amusement arcades with famous old machines, and this one has a lot, including mechanical pinball & shooting games & early video games such as Asteroids, Donkey Kong & Boot Hill! To lose an arcade such as this is very sad, but at least in the auction, the games will live on in private hands, unlike all the stories I hear about games being smashed up.

I found -- and played -- the arcade version of one of my favorite Japan-only Game Boy Advance games, Rhythm Tengoku. This was in one of the Sega arcades in the Shibuya district of Tokyo. Good stuff, of course, because this game was already terrific on the GBA!

Released in 1992 by Strata and developed by Incredible Technologies for the arcades, Time Killers is a fighting game that attempted to cash in on the success of Mortal Kombat. One of my favorite aspects of this game and the only reason you'd ever play it is how damage is dealt with. Enough damage to a lib and it will be torn off. It is possible to have both arms torn off and if you manage to win, you will be awarded with an "Armless Victory". Time Killers also features what I believe is the first ever one hit death in a fighting game. This game is incredibly gory and violent which brings tons of replay value when playing against others. Time Killers was eventually ported over to the Sega Genesis by another company but failed due to poor graphics and and playability.

Episode 8 of Arcade Hunters is finally here on Youtube! It's a huge three part episode of the arcades of the Weirs Beach Pier! As was said in the video, this footage was shot in the summer of 2008, but many of the games you'll see in all three videos are still there so if you plan on going up this summer you will see all of the games there. The first arcade we visit is simply called "Penny Arcade" The Penny Arcade has a nice selection of newer and classic games, redemption games and pinball. Some games to notice are the full motion Turbo Outrun and a couple of old style shooting gallery games. Sorry this took so long to get here. 2600 is a full time teacher and he suffered not one but two hard drive failures so it took us a while to get the new episodes out. This is the first arcade I put together since I reinstalled 3D Arcade. I went with the Time Out Tunnel from the 80's, it kind of reminds me of when Tilt was in the Monroeville Mall back in the day, even the outside part is kind of similar. This one has 69 playable games, and one non-working "joke" game. Enjoy as I give you a little fly through, while stopping to watch some of my favorite attract mode videos. The next one I put together will probably be in Deniro's Damned Dungeon or Deniro's 7th Heaven, I'm not sure, I just know I want to make something with a lot more games in it. Yeah, so this is one of those shitty unregistered hypercam videos. Hypercam crashed the first time I ran it, and now it won't take the serial key anymore, but hey, at least it recorded the sound.

Rampage was released in 1986 for the arcades by Bally Midway and allowed three players to play one of 3 different monsters at the same time! Play as George, Lizzy or Ralph, huge mutants that resemble Godzilla, King Kong and a big Wolf! Rampage is a classic arcade smash hit, and the stand up machine is worth a great amount of cash today. This awesome version on the Sega Master System was released in 1986 and was distributed by Activision. The SMS has some great arcade ports and some real duds, this is one of the best! Controls are spot on, colors and graphics are superb and Rampage comes alive in this cartridge. Classic Game Room is the retro reviewer to watch for Sega reviews. CGRHD loves Sega and is a Sega reviewer of consoles like the Master System, Sega Dreamcast, Sega Genesis, Sega CD and Sega Saturn. This review shows gameplay and footage from Rampage!
