
SOYA 365 - The Qantas Spirit Of Youth Awards (www.soya.com.au) - is the leading grants program for emerging creative talent. The 2011/12 program was launched on 8 November 2011 at Doltone House in Sydney's Pyrmont. SOYA 365 is now a year round initiative with one new creative category closing every month. Talented Australians aged 30 and under across eleven creative fields - Fashion, Film & Video, Visual Arts, Visual Design & Communications, Music, Craft & Object Design, Animation, Architecture & Interior Design, Interactive Content & Gaming, The Written Word and Photography - are invited to submit their work for a chance to boost their creative careers. In addition to offering emerging talent the opportunity to learn from the best minds in the world, winners will also be sent on the trip-of-a-lifetime to industry events and experiences and will receive $5000 in cash. In 2011/12, SOYA boasts a stellar line-up of inspirational mentors; MARC NEWSON (Craft & Object Design), NICKY and SIMONE ZIMMERMANN (Fashion), ROBERT LUKETIC (Film & Video), POLLY BORLAND (Photography), LEE GROVES (Music), ELIZABETH ANN MACGREGOR OBE (Visual Arts), VINCE FROST (Visual Design & Communication), BRIAN ZULAIKHA (Architecture & Interior Design), MARCO MARENGHI (Animation), ASHLEY RINGROSE & BRAD ELDRIDGE (Interactive Content & Gaming) and MARKUS ZUSAK (The Written Word).
