The Moors invaded and then held it until the 11th century, after which it became popular with Portuguese royalty. In the winter of 1575 a terrible storm closed the entrance to its port, ending a thriving trade in metals and tiles. The same storm also created a reef barrier at the Atlantic Ocean. Subscrevemos a mensagem do filme, apenas temos pena que a mesma não seja uma realidade no presente e que pouco se tem feito para que esta seja uma realidade num futuro próximo... A bicicleta está longe de ser um ponto importante na acção politica municipal. Podemos ver isso pelo estado de abandono em que se encontra o projecto BUGA, com a MOVEAVEIRO a anunciar publicamente um desinvestimento no projecto. O mesmo já nada tem do seu conceito inicial, aliado à falta de manutenção das ciclovias e vias cicláveis.
