The Top Ten Moves of Averno

Heading through the Lucha top tens, starting out with the man known as Averno. Averno originally began his career as the technico Rencor Latino in 1995. However, after being captured by Satanico in 2001, he was transformed into the rudo known as Averno. Satanico, Averno, and newly turned Mephisto captured the Mexican National Trios Titles in 2002, Averno's first major belt. Despite the success early on, the trio would lose the belts, and Averno and Mephisto eventually turned on Satanico. Since then, Averno has acheived moderate success alongside Mephisto, and formed a group alongside fellow dark sider Ephesto. Together, the three have reigned terror over the technico ranks, and occasionally will target the masks of their opponents. In 2004, Averno faced off against El Hijo del Santo. Though he came up short, the match was well received, and Averno gained some momentum, even in defeat. Averno himself found himself an arch rival in 2005: Mistico. Their January for the NWA World Middleweight Title match was so well received by the crowd, the fans threw money into the ring to show their appreciation. Though the matches were almost always incredible in quality, Mistico often came out on top, usually forcing Averno to submit to La Mistica(an unofficial official count by Cubs Fan indicates Mistico won eighteen out of twenty five matches between the two). Despite the setback, Averno and Mephisto set their sights on tag team gold, and in September of 2005, they acheived that goal <b>...</b>
