This is a Volvo B10M Mk-IV Superlong Bus in Singapore. This bus is manafactured by Duple Metsec(Duple Metal Sctions)and Volvo Sweden and assembled by Soon Chow in Singapore in 1994. This bus ran around in an experimental program and SBS evaluated that no further Superlong 15m buses are needed as Doublec Deckers are more reliable then the Superlong. The bus is still in service and will be scrapped in 2012 due to life span limit of 17 years (Without 2 year Extension in lifespan)

The Big Lemon D222 LWY. It was new to Wallace Arnold. In July 2010 This Volvo B10M Plaxton Paramount coach had its engine taken out and put in the other Big Lemon coach another Volvo B10M Plaxton Paramount E968 KDP due to an engine failure with 968. 222 was later sold for scrap.

SBS Transit was purchased the 2nd batch of 300 Volvo B10M-61 buses with Duple Metsec bodywork, they're the first batch of Volvo B10M with Air-Condition system (1st batch of B10M are all non a/c, some of them were retrofitted with a/c system in 1999-2000), some of the Volvo B10M MKIII with JB (Johor Bahru) registered and specially for route 160 & 170 from Singapore to JB~~ These buses eqipped Volvo THD101GC engine and Voith D381.4 transmission (Except SBS876R and SBS877M equipped ZF 4HP500 tranmission)~~ However, these batch of Volvo B10M MKIII currently being retired due to the lifespan policy in Singapore, they'll be totally retired in 2011-2012~~ Let's go to the joyride of the Volvo B10M MKIII on route 16~~

We reach the top of the hill at 0.38min and flew past Sch of Comms studies, re-overtaking SBS7236S! We re-overtake SBS9062M & SBS9092B as we flew past the Innovation Centre at 1.56min and regain our position. New formation - 9056G, 1780B, 7236S, 9092B, 9062M, 9162H We catch up with SBS9056G at 2.35 when we stop at Hall 4 (but didn't overtake) SBS9092B didn't need to stop and overtook us again instead. New formation - 9056G, 9092B, 1780B, 7236S, 9062M, 9162H We get stuck behind a slow Coca-Cola van along Nanyang Crescent when leaving NTU at around 3.20min.
