Marty Robbins was an incredible artist. An artist who could paint pictures of his beloved west where he came from and which he loved so much. Without Marty Robbins western music might have all but been forgotten; he breathed new life into it in 1959 when he recorded his masterpiece album 'Gunfighter Ballads And Trail Songs' which has stood the test of time with it's spellbinding and poetical storylines. Whenever anyone around the world thinks of cowboy music Marty is undoubtedly at the top of mosts people's lists and deservedly so for he brought back the sound of a time long gone with the quality of his songwriting and that wonderful voice. Geoge Harrison and Eric Clapton were close friends and they fell in love with the same woman during different time of their lives : Geoge Harrison married Patricia Ann Boyd in 1966 They Divorced in 1977. Eric Clapton married Patricia Ann Boyd in 1979 They Divorced in 1988. "Badge" is a song performed by Cream, written by Eric Clapton and George Harrison. It was included as a track on Cream's final album, Goodbye. Peaking at number 60 on Billboard's Hot 100, "Badge" was a minor hit after its release as a single in April 1969. The single was much more successful in the United Kingdom, where it reached #18. "Badge" was originally an untitled track. During the production transfer for the album Goodbye, the original music sheet was used to produce the liner notes and track listing. The only discernible word on the page was "bridge" (indicating the song's bridge section). Due to Harrison's handwriting, however, Clapton misread it as "badge" — and the song was titled soon thereafter. Harrison remembered the story differently: "I helped Eric write 'Badge' you know. Each of them had to come up with a song for that Goodbye Cream album and Eric didn't have his written. We were working across from each other and I was writing the lyrics down and we came to the middle part so I wrote 'Bridge.' May 2, 3, 5, 6. 1080p 7 of 22 In May of 2005 Cream returned to London's Royal Albert Hall-to the same stage where they had completed what was thought to be their final performance in 1968. It was one of the most eagerly anticipated, hard-to-get tickets in rock history. With the exception of a brief reunion set at their 1993 induction into the Rock and roll Hall of Fame, Cream had not played together in nearly four decades. This DVD documents Cream's momentous London shows. Performances from each of the four nights are featured and much more. Also included are alternate performances and interviews with Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce, and Eric Clapton. Cream formed in 1966 and disbanded in 1968. The band were a prolific and thrilling live act and toured incessantly in their short but remarkable history.
