Battle At Barcroft-Finals
Greg Preville vs. John Friday, March 18 SKATE Tournament was held at Barcroft Park. Host: Armando & JJ Coons,Administrators: Xavier & Armando. There were 32 skaters, John came in as a replacement for someone who didn't show up and made it to the finals! But in the end Greg's technical wizardry of forward flips and switch hardflips prevailed.

Lake Barcroft Leaves
A slow ride around Lake Barcroft, an urban lake in northern Virginia near Washington, DC,, to view the autumn leaves. Video snapshots taken from a recumbent Hydrobike, a pedal-powered craft mounted on two pontoons. Along the way we saw a beautiful Great Blue Heron, who graciously posed for us. ACFD burns down a house in Barcroft
A vacant house on our neighborhood was donated to the Arlington County Fire Department. The CBS Early Show filmed a segment on fire safety and the fire department practiced putting out the fire. Thankfully, they did not burn it to the ground. It may be many months before it is demolished and the new house is built.
