On a show showing talented dogs, Baily The Beagle was on, and showed how well he can play dead! The host said that beagles are snarky....well DUH! who doesn't know that beagles are made of snark! Snark, Fur, and Love! (Baily's not my beagle, btw...I just like sharing beagles with the world!)

Our second rescue from beagles who have lived their entire lives inside a research laboratory. These beagles have known nothing except the confines of metal cages. They have known no soft human touch, no warm bed, no companionship, no love. They have never been outside or sniffed a tree or grass. Finally, after years of being poked and prodded, these beagles are FREE! ARME got the call that a facility was willing to release them to us after they had been used in several tests. We picked them up on June 8th and now they are all in loving foster homes, and one has already been adopted. We received our new leaf blower and were trying it out when Lucy decided she was going to try and eat all the air coming out! The blower sound was so loud and annoying youtube offered songs up to replace the noise, I ended up on TheFringe by Kurtis Blow (Boze Kids), cause of the Blow in the name & it looked silly like she was rapping. I had no idea little Lucy's video would be viewed so much- thanks everyone. Of course no animals were harmed here, in fact she loves eating at air- whether it's the hair dryer, out the car window, or the leaf blower. Enjoy! Want to see more of this & with another song? This is my Beagle breaking out of his pen. -edit Wow, it has been awhile since I have read through the comments. Some of you people need to take a chill pill before you reply. You should know the facts before you make random negative comments. I have almost an acre fenced in with cattle fence and it is backed up with an invisible fence. I have the small pen because I was using it while conditioning the litter. You know getting them use to different environmental WHILE keeping them safe. Those were the two pups I kept out of the litter so they are a little bigger. The problem is they were still small enough to climb through the cattle fence and too young to start invisible fence training. I let them run around a bunch while I was outside watching them but I wasn't ready for them to come inside, so they were put in the pen. If you don't have anything nice to say please don't comment. If you are really worried about my fence send me a private message and I'll give you my paypal address to send money to! Thanks!

On December 23, 2010, ARME rescued two Beagles from a medical testing laboratory. These dogs had never seen the outdoors, walked on grass or felt a gentle touch. We captured their first steps into a kind world. They had also been de-barked and fed only "laboratory chow." ARME will continue with these rescues when it can.
