Baby Shampoo is a cheaper alternative to commercial makeup brush cleansers and it works! It deep cleans your brushes with its gentle baby formula and leaves your brushes soft. You can condition your brushes with olive oil before washing them but I find that just using baby shampoo makes my brushes soft enough. If your brushes are really dirty, I suggest you pour baby shampoo on the palm of your hand and work the damp bristles in it. Lather it up like you would your hair. The method I use in the video preserves shampoo and some water ^_^ Typically, you should wash your makeup brushes once a week but I wash mine once a month because I own quite a few and only use each one a few times. =) You should wash your foundation, concealer, and eyeliner brush after every use because they contain moisture and accumulate bacteria faster than powder and eyeshadow brushes. Always remember to wash your brushes! Dirty brushes can harbour bacteria that can cause break outs on your face. =O Happy washing! Gah! First video ever, and already I'm such a n00b...couldn't figure out how to add image stills to this video....*sigh*. I guess I'll see how it looks and sounds in a moment. Sorry I'm not as pretty as you, Bebexo! I tried :P. I guess I'll just add them to imageshack later and link back here (if that's okay, please??). I chose Spring as my makeup inspiration because I'm so pale that Winter/Fall colors, like dark blue or brown, are just too dark; they'd wipe me out completely. It's very hard choosing makeup correctly for my skin tone. Also, I do enjoy Spring a lot since it is not too hot and not too cold and all the flowers start blooming ^_^. I tried not to make the video go over 3 mins, but it's hard when you're trying to show your personality + products + explaining how you did the look. I'm currently a University student in Canada. We get a lot of snow, and I love snow. Not the cold, but the snow. That's what I based the look off of. I really enjoy how the look turned out, and since it's wearable, I might just wear it to school one day this week. I only use drugstore makeup products/Claire's makeup products. I figure that drugstore makeup is just as good as high end makeup, and I don't even have to waste my money. That's just my opinion. uhh finally here's the video, i re-edited the video for more then 5 times. I didn't not talk about my parents in the video coz that makes me emotional, and that's not good for a contest entry video, right? i came up with this look in about 8-9 days and den i was dying to make a video of it~but unfortunately i was sick and still recorded the video, no1 could make out what the hell i was talking. And i was really sad. I can not wipe off the make and do it when i was ok~it took me 1 week to get better. That's why i just filmed a mute video of me and spoke in the background (thanks to my granny for this brilliant idea) i LOVE you GRANNY. I live in Hawaii for one, so summer is the only season I really get to experience, but also my birthday is on August; the middle of summer...and when I was little my grandpa used to take me to the beach, this is where I developed my love for the ocean.
