We decided to have a go at doing the same with Im Lost Without You. I recorded my Acoustic Instrumental and sent it through to Cody and he then produced the final version. This is it. Bink-182, a band originating in Poway, California composed of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and their second drummer, Travis Barker, one of the biggest pop punk bands of the 1990s, perform a musical melody of epic proportions with their 2001 song off of Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, Online Songs, to the insane critically acclaimed anime series from Japan, Furi Kuri ( Fooly Cooly / FLCL ). A middle school boy named Takun, over shadowed by his older brother's success as a baseball player, encounters one day on a bridge in his plain Japanese town, a mysterious woman who is on a vespa assaults him with a bass guitar and completely wrecks him opening up a portal between dimensions. After this happens, the mysterious woman ends up at his house to stay and unusual assurances happen throughout her stay. Bink-182 is a band who write fast sporadic songs about teenagers and their relationships which is similar to this insane sporadic comedy that involves teenage relationships as a sub-plot within it along with its complete randomness and out of control plot including everything from breaking the third wall to pop-culture jokes and pure anime like comedy that can only be achieved in an anime form.
