Railfanning BIue Island, Riverdale & Dolton on 29.05.11
It was a bit of a slow evening at Blue Island Junction, but not so much at Dolton, where things were very busy as usual. Train descriptions follow: Train 1: A freshly-painted BNSF SD70MAC, #9753, and another, #9452, bring autoracks from the Indiana Harbor Belt's Gibson Yard, up the IHB main at Blue Island. Train 2: On CSX's B&OCT main, CSX C40-8W #7854 and ES44DC #5395 blast south with an intermodal. Train 3: Now in Riverdale at the eastern entrance to CSX's Barr Yard, we see a BNSF coal drag powered by SD70MACs #9781, 9729 and 8831, head west on the yard bypass tracks. Its tail end is later seen crossing Indiana Ave/138th St, from the car. Train 4: Now at Dolton Junction, a Norfolk Southern manifest heads slowly west on the IHB main, with straight-SD70 #2503 and C40-9W #9011 leading. Train 5: CSX C40-8W #7748 and SD40-2 #8071 bring a manifest east. Train 6: Lone NS GP38-2 #5528 brings a train of brand-new tractors east on IHB. ~Thanks for watching!~

Die Gruppe bestand über lange Jahre, brach dann aber auseinander, da unser Chorleiter Micha Keding den Chor aus Beruflichen Gründen nicht weiter leiten konnte....
