Black Adder - S01E03 - Why Hell Is Good

A scene from the TV show Black Adder in which Edmund is trying to convince a Lord to leave his lands to the crown, otherwise He (Edmund) will be beheaded. To get the Lord to do so, He uses a bizarre form of reverse psychology and makes a good point...I am now not too worried about "burning in Hell". Blackadder II scene with Queen Elizabeth I

This is a scene Blackadder II, an old British comedy series set in Tudor England during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. Blackadder was played by Rowan Atkinson, who most people will know as Mr Bean. In this scene, Blackadder has returned from a voyage of exploration with the hope of impressing the Queen and winning her affections. Unfortunately the gifts he offers her weren't quite up to scratch and besides the Queen has gone off explorers. Miranda Richardson was memorable as Queen Elizabeth, she was utterly amazing and very witty too with her tantrums and bad tempers.
