in redesigning the paramilitary, spyderco took on the challenge of slimming down the annoying blade tang so it does not stick out in your pocket they rose to the challenge magnificently with the para 2, however, the new geometry puts the bushings a little too close to the holes for the pocket clip and when the drill leaves a raised ring around each hole... blade play begins i'm not sure if flattening the liners is the solution in every case but on my knife it made all the difference hope this helps
