Hello all and welcome to my new and improved Beginner's Gravity Well tutorial. I will only be covering the basics in this tutorial. Before I get into the tutorial itself I'd like to point out that it helps tremendously if you become very acquainted with the keyboard shortcuts. This cuts down on time significantly as there will be A LOT of trail and error involved. It's good to know these shortcuts for regular track making also. The most used Gravity Well hot keys are as follows: Q = Pencil tool W = Line Tool 1 = When pencil tool or line tool is selected chooses non acceleration (blue) line 3 = When pencil tool or line tool is selected chooses scenery (green) line E = Eraser tool S = Hold to disable snapping Shift + Left Mouse Button = To reverse direction of lines (not necessary but occasionally useful). Y = Play Button M = Slow motion (after you press play) Z = Zoom in (after you press play) X = Zoom out (after you press play) Shift and Y Simultaneously = to maintain zoom to determine sled nose position. U = Stop Button Okay, Now for the gravity well basics: For beginning gravity wells it's usually easier to have the line perpendicular to the nose of the sled.
