Hmm...tried uploading this one before and some hiccups on the site and it was like I never uploaded...Oh Well! Here I go again: I found this backing track on guitarbt.com and I had to play along. I ended up recording the result, and I'm sharing it for CONSTRUCTIVE feedback. Cheers! Before anybody asks I used a D harp. I get asked on a semi-regular basis for tabs to various songs. I'm sorry, but as I don't READ tabs, I can't supply them. What I do is listen to the song and attempt to figure out the general melody for the song in question.

Adding a modern twist to the two-harmonica concept, Adam Gussow and Brandon Bailey toss in some foot-drums (Gussow) and an octave pedal (Bailey). Gussow sings "Take You Downtown"--an adaptation of Muddy Waters's "Goin' to Main Street--while Bailey blows walking bass. Then the two harpists kick out Gussow's instrumental adaptation of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition." What lays out most naturally is a minor key scale, and an easy to play blues style. So a harder "bending required" 2nd position riff like this 2d** 2d 3d* 2d can be played with no bending at 4b 4d 5d 4d. The 2nd position "Up Riff" is played 2d 3d 4b 4d* 4d. The 3rd position Up Riff is played 4d 5d 6b 6d* 6d Once you go below hole 4, you need to bend the 3d to to 3d**, and you will want to bend the 2d to 2d**. 3rd Position Scale from 1d to 4d (play backwards and forwards) 1d 2b 2d** 3b 3d** 4b 4d

We made a little change and play 3 blow with a tongue-snap instead of 2 draw on the end of the lick. The dots are the tonguesnaps. Even if you don´t play any note you are able to hear the "THhhhh"-sound of a tonguesnap as a rytm-part. You can download the worksheet at the homepage if you want to. Have fun, play harp...

This is a short vid about customizing a standard blues harp by building in a acryl made comb. (belive it or not, this was my first try.) The screws used in this mod are M2 x 10 mm. Holes drilled for tapping were 1.5 mm. Holes drilled into the cover plates were 2.0 mm. BE CAREFUL WHILE USING KNIFES AND MACHINES.

Japanese and Malaysian blues harmonica jam. First ever of its kind where two formidable Asian blues harp players go at it to showcase the awesomeness of blues improvisation. It don't get more real than this folks. Enjoy! For the harp nerds, we were both only using stock Suzuki Manji's in A for this E jam. This was the "Suzuki Harmonica Masters: That's What Friends Are For Concert" held at The Summit Subang USJ Auditorium (16 April 2011). The concert is for supporting the Malaysian Association for the Blind. It showcased a broad variety of different types of harmonicas and music. A little bit of background info: I actually met Koei 2 years ago at SPAH 2008 (Sacramento). It was when I first introduced myself to the fantastic folks who work for Suzuki at their showroom right before they showed me the Manji harmonica for the first time ever! Fast forward in time, we got to meet again as "harmonica brothers" and had a great time. Koei is a fantastic guy who travels a lot around the world and often conducts free workshops for underprivileged people in rural areas. His contributions are indeed something worthy to note.

After playing around for some time I found a continuous mathematical layout "in the circle of 4th". To moja druga recenzja video, tym razem przedstawiam harmonijkę Hohner Blues Harp MS w tonacji D. Harmonijka ma szeroko otwarte pokrywy, dzięki czemu jest głośna, zaimpregnowany korpus i dobrze wyregulowane stroiki nadają jej szczelność, a przez to szybkość i łatwość reakcji. Brzmienie jest rasowe, bluesowe, lekko przytłumione. Harmonijka jest trwała, mam ją już od września 2007 roku, a ona gra coraz lepiej. Podsumowując, jest to bardzo dobry instrument w rozsądnej cenie. PS. Dalej nie udało mi się rozwiązać problemu rozminięcia się obrazu z fonią, za co bardzo przepraszam.
