Baal HaSulam - Bnei Heichala
Bnei Heichala means "the sons of King's Palace," those desiring to reach the Palace of the King. The King's Palace is Bina—the property of bestowal, the force of the Creator, the spiritual. The sons are those who yearn to resemble the King in their properties, to become like Him. Hence, Bnei Heichala are the souls aspiring to attain the state of uniting the King in His Palace. and to do so, they are ready to pass the entire system of corrections, change themselves from the beginning until the end—from the nature in which they were created to the nature of the King, as it is written: "Returned the sons of Israel to the height of their God." U. S Ambassador Dan Shapiro and Ms Julie Fisher made a pre-Rosh Hashanah visit to Bnei Brak. There they met with Mayor Rabbi Yaakov Asher and other city officials and learned first-hand about the economic developments, challenges and opportunities taking place in Bnei Brak within the ultra-orthodox communities. They took the opportunity to meet Rabbi Aharon Leib Steinman, prominent ultra-orthodox spiritual leader of the Lithuanian communities, at his residence. There they heard Rabbi Steinman praise America, echoing the words engraved in the Statue of Liberty, for opening its doors to "the poor and needy", that is what made America great, the land of the free. Following this meeting, the Ambassador and his wife toured Ateret Rachel Women's Seminary, part of the Amal Group, where they met, among others, the president of the seminary , Mrs. Tsipi Yishai; the principal of the school, Rebbetzin Zivia Bukhris; and Rabbi Zemach Mazuz, the head of Kisse Rahamim Yeshiva, Bnei Brak and Amal Group representatives. The school receives a US funded grant for English language instruction. They entered a class and spoke to the students and took questions on the importance of learning English. Another highlight was their visit to Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center, where they were welcomed by Dr. Moshe Rothschild, the founder and president of the medical center, and Rabbi Gershon Lieder, CEO; and Dr. Motti Ravid the Medical Director; and many other senior doctors and staff. Shamrock Rovers vs Bnei Yehuda - 15th July 2010
European football came to Tallaght Stadium for the first time when Shamrock Rovers took on Israel's Bnei Yehuda for the first leg of the second round of the Europa League. The Hoops started brightly and dominated their opponents for time of possession and shots on goal for the whole match, but it was the visitors who stuck first with a momentary lapse of concentration allowing them to get behind the Rovers defense for a relatively simple goal. Although Rovers quickly came back from the shock goal, it wasn't until the second half's extra time that they found a way through the wall of orange Bnei surrounded their goal with, when Robert Bayly scored from the narrowest of angles, sending the team and the supporters into ecstasy. With the match ending as a 1-1 draw, both teams will be looking to the second leg in the Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv as the place where the European dream will be kept alive or dashed for another year.
