Bobby Vinton - Blue moon

Esta grabación de Bobby Vinton de 1963 se escucha en la película "An American Werewolf in London" de 1981. La expresión "blue moon" se refiere a la segunda luna llena que puede aparecer en un mismo mes, hecho que es tenido como raro y de suerte. Blue moon You saw me standing alone Without a dream in my heart, Without a love of my own Blue moon You knew just what I was there for You heard me saying a prayer for Someone I really could care for And then, there suddenly appeared before me The only one my arms will ever hold I heard somebody whisper, "Please adore me" And when I looked, the moon had turned to gold Blue moon Now, I'm no longer alone Without a dream in my heart, Without a love of my own And then, there suddenly appeared before me The only one my arms will ever hold I heard somebody whisper, "Please adore me" And when I looked, the moon had turned to gold Blue moon Now, I'm no longer alone Without a dream in my heart, Without a love of my own Blue moon Blue moon (fade out)
Roses are Red (My Love) by Bobby Vinton

Roses are red, my love ... doo doo da doooo ... A long, long time ago, on graduation day. You handed me your book ... I signed this way: "Roses are red, My Love, Violets are blue, Sugar is sweet, My Love, But not as sweet as you." We dated through high school, And when the big day came, I wrote into your book, next to my name: "Roses are red, My Love, Violets are blue, Sugar is sweet, My Love, But not as sweet as you." Then I went far away, and you found someone new. I read your letter, Dear, and I wrote back to you: "Roses are red, My Love, Violets are blue, Sugar is sweet, My Love, Good luck, may God bless you." Is that your little girl? She looks a lot like you. Someday some boy will write in her book, too. "Roses are red, My Love, Violets are blue, Sugar is sweet, My Love, But not as sweet as you."

Bobby Vinton - Blue Velvet (Original Stereo)

"Blue Velvet" was written by Bernie Wayne and Lee Morris in 1950 and first popularly recorded by Tony Bennett the following year. The Clovers managed to record a marvelous doo-wop version of it in 1955, but Bobby Vinton's cover recorded in 1963 became the biggest selling of them all. This recording was the #1 song on the pop charts during August of 1963.
"My Heart Belongs to Only You" Bobby Vinton

Previously recorded by Mary Swan in 1958 and Jackie Wilson in 1961, "My Heart Belongs to Only You" written by Frank and Dorothy Daniels, was a hit for Bobby Vinton in February and March 1964. The song was originally released on the Epic label and can be found on the album, Bobby Vinton's Greatest Hits, available on CD on the Collectors Choice label. I dedicate this song to Lynda and John. It will always be their song.
Bobby Vinton - My Special Angel (1963)

Released on the 1963 album, "Greatest Hits Of The Golden Groups". Kind of a strange album for this song to be included on since it was a '50's hit for Bobby Helms, not a group. The Vogues evenually had a hit with a remake but that wasn't until years after this album was recorded. So, I guess you could say this album predicted that a group would have a hit with the song years before they did! Bobby re-recorded this song in the '80's and that version seems easier to find than this one.
Bobby Vinton - Goodnight my love

Una de mis canciones favoritas de Bobby Vinton. Aparece en un recopilatorio que hizo en 1975 de canciones anteriormente grabada por él. No sé, exactamente, en que año la grabó. Goodnight, my love Pleasant dreams and sleep tight, my love May tomorrow be sunny and bright And bring you closer to me Before you go Please remember I need you so And this love I have for me Will never go cold If you should awake in the still of the night Please have no fear Just close your eyes Then you realize That my love will watch over you, dear, always Goodnight, my love Pleasant dreams and sleep tight, my love May tomorrow be sunny and bright And bring you closer to me If you should awake in the still of the night Please have no fear Just close your eyes Then you realize That my love will watch over you, dear, always Goodnight, my love Pleasant dreams and sleep tight, my love May tomorrow be sunny and bright And bring you closer to me
Sealed with a kiss - Bobby Vinton

Me playing Sealed with a kiss of Bobby Vinton Lyrics: Though we gotta say goodbye for the summer Baby, I promise you this I'll send you all my love Every day in a letter Sealed with a kiss Yes, it's gonna be a cold lonely summer But I'll fill the emptiness I'll send you all my dreams Every day in a letter Sealed with a kiss I'll see you in the sunlight I'll hear your voice everywhere I'll run to tenderly hold you But baby, you won't be there I don't wanna say goodbye for the summer Knowing the love we'll miss So let us make a pledge To meet in September And seal it with a kiss [Instrumental Interlude] Yes, it's gonna be a cold lonely summer But I'll fill the emptiness I'll send you all my love Every day in a letter Sealed with a kiss

Bobby Vinton - Mr. Lonely

Lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely I have nobody for my own I am so lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely Wish I had someone to call on the phone Now I'm a soldier, a lonely soldier Away from home through no wish of my own That's why I'm lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely I wish that I could go back home Letters, never a letter I get no letters in the mail I've been forgotten, yes, forgotten Oh how I wonder, how is it I failed Now I'm a soldier, a lonely soldier Away from home through no wish of my own That's why I'm lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely I wish that I could go back home
