There was no smoke coming out of the front wheels, so I had no idea how hot the brakes were until I got back into the pits and my student noticed my caliper colour! Motul RBF600 fluid held up perfectly! Right after a momentary "no brake" incident from excess heat when I went back on the track, they returned to normal operation. Motul, Subaru and Brembo FTW! Stupid driver without a pit crew to take temperatures... LOSE.

This is a BMW E39 M5, 130.000 km, with a front Brembo brakeset mounted, standard exhaust. We took this one for a test drive and found out that the 4000,- euro brembo brake set gave the same problem as the standard brakes have all the time; shaking violently under braking. This engine had a nasty "switch on-switch off" character and a stuttering gas response , resulting in quite a bumpy drive and sickening passengers. In the end, the sound and power of the engine was astonishing.
