Entry from: Haag, Netherlands Entry Title: "A model town" Entry: "TUESDAY, 8th August We were to take our coach tour to Den Haag today but that was not until 2.15pm so, we went by train into the city late morning with the intention of going to the Rembrandt museum. We walked the streets along the eastern side of town passing through the red light district and some other obvious low life areas. The streets were much narrower until we reached Jodenbreestraat where Rembrandt's house supposedly stood. The famous artist lived there during his painting days. It was decided that only Anne would pay the fee to go in. I would take a look around the market in the Waterlooplein (the one that had been closing on a previous visit). She was in there only half an hour, was not impressed but glad she had done it. Main problem was that it was just too crowded and she could get nowhere near any of the actual paintings. I could have used her ticket but declined. In the meantime I had found my little paradise...a stall with thousands of second hand vinyls. But, I had an agreement with my partner that no vinyls were to be purchased while in Europe. Just as well. I could have filled a suitcase except that they were not cheap. [ In case I forget. Later when we went to Utrecht we came upon not one stall but a dozen stalls...a <b>...</b>
