After seeing a recipe and video about making a cake in the microwave using a coffee cup, we just had to try it ourselves.

this recipe has been floating around the internets for awhile, I just had it e-mailed to me. the result is a bit eggy, slightly dense, but really chocolatey and delicious. It claims to be 5 minute cake, but you'd have to really hurry to do it in 5 - took me about 8 minutes, including the 3 minutes in the microwave. Here's the recipe, copied and pasted right out of my e-mail: 5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE 4 tablespoons flour 4 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons cocoa 1 egg 3 tablespoons milk 3 tablespoons oil 3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional) a small splash of vanilla extract 1 large coffee mug Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well.
