My coverage of what happened in Abbaseya on July 23 On July 23 protestors of Tahrir marched peacefully from Tahrir square to Abbaseya trying to reach the Ministry of Defense to protest against the Supreme Council of Armed Forces. The Military police was ready. They blocked the street leading to MOD with tanks and troops. Once we reached the blocked street many residents of Abbaseya stared quarreling and fighting with us.
