Finally trying out a Charvel. The San Dimas and So Cal models are both great guitars but this visit I tried a candy red So Cal (or maybe it was the Ferrari red?). The DiMarzio Tone Zone and Evo pickups sound fantastic and I'm just playing through a 15 watt Line 6 Spider IV! Sorry for the quiet of the audio. I was the only guy in the store playing and I'm not the type to turn it up and seems like a show-off (and yes, there was one other person playing at the beginning but he stopped). Like my other video with the ESP M II, this is me improvising the whole thing except for a bit where I tried a part of Jason Becker's "Altitudes" but couldn't remember how it went.

Ive not seen many review for this guitar, but i still decided to buy one anyway. The pickups sound really good and the feel of the guitar is really nice too. The neck is slim and fast and the whole thing is very well made.....AND it looks great too!!!! The price is really worth the guitar, where else can you get a mahogany through neck solid body guitar that sounds as good as this with EMG's for the price!! All in all 10/10 Nuff Said!!!

Toying with the idea of putting in a five way switch (similar to that on Fender Blacktop Strats) to increase versatility. Using Guitar Rig for dirt.

I'm playing through my Mac here and playing around with Amplitube 3 to try and find a Malmsteen tone. I'm using humbuckers here so a bit tricky. In the bridge is a Dimarzio Tone Zone and an Evo in the bridge on my Charvel So Cal. If anyone is interested I have started giving guitar lessons. I am based in Manchester UK.
