Felt were formed in 1980 by their enigmatic leader Lawrence, and went on to achieve huge critical acclaim and a hardcore following of devoted fans. They went on to record ten albums (one a year) through the 1980's. The albums have been reissued in full by Cherry Red Records over the course of the last two years, increasing the already strong interest in the band. "A Declaration" is therefore the perfect accompaniment to the album releases. It features a full-length concert, filmed at ULU in 1987, with the band, and Lawrence's songwriting, at the peak of their powers.
