Final Project for intro computer class utilizing the virtual world Second Life. A demonstration of how online virtual worlds and sims can be used as a marketing tool by the music industry. All songs and artwork are the property their respective artists. The metal scene is unhealthily obsessed with sub-genres, so I prefer to simplify things and define folk metal as any style of metal in which the subject matter is based upon traditional folk music or folk history. Common subjects found in folk metal are Viking Scandinavia, Anglo Saxon England, Pre-Christian Europe, Medieval history, and local history. Many bands also fuse traditional folk instruments such as bagpipe, tin whistle, fiddle, accordion, and jaw harp into their music. The band Eluveitie even incorporates the hurdy gurdy with their sound.

This is a track of celtic irish music, inspired by the pagan religions and values but, mainly, by the landscapes, the forests and the nature of Beigua natural park, in Ligury. I recorded this track on my own, with acustic instruments: my accordion, the tin and low whistles that I make myself, my bodhran, my uilleann pipes and my voice. Along with the song a slideshow of pictures (taken by me) of the beautiful nature of the park of mt. Beigua. I wrote this piece of music years ago.
