Shooting star among all Holstein stallions. Impressive appearance, clearly a performance horse. Energetic hind quarter action full of elasticity, jumping really sensational concerning capacity, leg technique and bascule. Already in his 100-day-performance-test Colman won the jumping part and placed in the top group over all. He is a son of the international show jumper Carthago (see Carbano). Dams sire Lord became one of the most famous stallions in the Holstein breed and also was covering in Wöhrden in the past. In the third generation we find the outstanding thoroughbred Marlon xx. Colman represents the Holstein dam line 223 a, that got popular by the stallions Camposanto, Conello, De Kooning and Loredano. Colman has already produced more than 15 high quality licensed sons, eg Cancoon, Carantanus, Culture I and II, Catwalk, Con Cosmos, Casinos, Colmander, Colmani, Contagio, Cool Crack I and II, Cordarex, Cottbus and Coulthard. The oldest offspring was very successful in advanced level jumping competitions and made their father one of the leading German stallions.

Dalcroze Eurhythmics teacher John Colman gives a demonstration
From a 1966 demonstration recorded at the University of Wisconsin. Colman was a student of Emil Jaques-Dalcroze, who developed the Eurhythmics method of teaching music through movement. Colman also studied with Paul Hindemith and played for many great dance companies, including Balanchine/New York City Ballet. The single 'All I need', from Radiohead's critically acclaimed latest album 'In Rainbows', became a perfect fit for the idea behind the human trafficking message. This video clip for 'All I Need', the next track from Radiohead's critically acclaimed 'In Rainbows', was created to raise awareness of exploitation and human trafficking in developing countries. "It is exciting to work on a project that creates awareness for such a good cause with the backing of one of the world's most respected bands", says Dejan Rasic of colman rasic carrasco. The 'All I need' music video is a joint project for client MTV Exit Asia and Radiohead, which will see the clip released to a global audience of millions. "It's great to be able to put a worthwhile message into a format that can create it's own audience.", says Rebecca Carrasco from colman rasic carrasco. The music video, directed by Steve Rogers through Revolver in Sydney will run as of today on television, web and mobile networks. When asked what attracted him to the idea, Steve Rogers comments "It was interesting because I had not seen social commentary that was presented as a music promo before". Volunteers Colman Rowntree and Martin McAlinden (The Men From the County Down)
Official IRA Volunteers Colman Rowntree and Martin McAlinden of Newry, County Down, were killed by soldiers of the Brtish Paratroop Regiment on 15 May 1974 near Ballyholland, Co. Down. The longtime Volunteers had been captured by an undercover patrol of Paras at at arms dump in the countryside. Following thier capture they were shot dead while standing to attention. A local farmer who witnessed the event testified to this, and to the fact that he, also, had been fired on by the Paratroops narrowly escaping death.. His testimony was disregarded and no charges were ever filed against the Paratroops. Rowntree and McAlinden were veteran Republican Socialists who had been active in the Newry disturbances in 1969 which were mounted in an attempt to take pressure off of the beleagured people in Derry and Belfast. Rowntree was seriously wounded at this time, nearly dying. Both men had to go "on the run" following the introduction of Internment. Thier actions, both military and political, were a thorn in the side of the local British Occupation Forces, and it is believed that they were specifically marked out for death. Ten minutes following their funerals the Official IRA attacked a British Army patrol in Newry killing two soliders. This song, to the tune of the well known "Star of the County Down" was written by Seoirse MacDomhnaill. It is performed here by Kevin Donleavy on vocals and Rich Lange on guitar and chorus vocals. The sound engineer was Bill Tetzeli.
