Jaws Unleashed Boss 4: Colossal squid
The fourth boss of Jaws unleashed (I'll get the others uploaded soon). This titanic squid will take forever if you don't know how to fight him. Boss: Colossal Squid boss Difficulty: Hard Attack: ****** Defence: **** Quite a tough boss. Because he doesn't have a life bar, you'll have to follow this strategy to defeat him: 1. Don't attack him. Instead, swim in circles around the entire area. 2. He'll occasionally swing his tentacles at you to attack. Press the dodge button from time to time to avoid this. 3. After awhile, the boss will try to grab you. If grabbed, shake the thumbstick like crazy! 4. If he misses, he'll knock himself out. Go ahead and bite off a tentacle (not the long ones). 5. Repeat this until he's left with only a couple of tentacles. 6. When he knocks himself out, this time bite his eyeballs (yes his eyeballs!!). 7. Once both eyes are bitten off, keep swimming in circles until the boss knocks down the pipes (at least 4 should do the trick). Avoid his beak when attempting to bite his tentacles. They'll do continuous damage. Also, if running out of health, just eat the eye or tentacle in your mouth. Please leave comments!

Weighing in at just under half a ton, this is a huge catch. The colossal squid is the largest of its kind ever to be caught and preserved. Now scientists at a museum in New Zealand are defrosting the creature and preparing it for dissection. The scientists have up to 8 hours to find out more about the squid before it starts to decay. Marine biologist Steven O'Shea says there's a lot to discover. [Steve O'Shea, Marine Biologist, Auckland University of Technology]: "In 2003 when we had the first specimen we didn't have any eyes and when we put the certain gadget in the water here we saw two of the most sensational eyes and they are both perfect. So that is a highlight, that is probably the best thing so far, there's more to come." The huge eyes are 27 centimeters wide, and its tentacles are lined with hundreds of sharp hooks so it can catch its prey. As for tucking in to a calamari starter, it seems this squid doesn't taste too bad. [Steve O'Shea, Marine Biologist, Auckland University of Technology]: "I neither confirm nor deny. The interesting thing about it is that it was nonammoniacal, that is the important thing as far as we are concerned it tasted good apparently." After dissection the squid will be embalmed and displayed at the museum.

Giant Squid, Natural History Museum, London
This is one of the biggest and most complete giant squids ever found. It is on display at London's Natural History Museum, in the Tank Room of the Darwin Centre. Measuring 8.62m (28ft), the animal was caught off the coast of the Falkland Islands by a trawler. It has been in the Museum since 2006. This footage was taken on Tuesday 12th January 2010. Also - the creature at the very beginning of the video is part of a colossal squid (specimen not complete). The giant squid starts at about 10secs in, with the tip of one of the tentacles. If you are in London, this specimen is well worth a look
