Nitroplanes has just introduced a "mild powered" Electric Ducted Fan Jet that is fun to fly. Not crazy about the battery connectors that it came with and the CG has to be just right, but it flies very nicely. Tony at NitroPlanes replaced the motor with a larger one, which really makes this plane scream, but for first time jet fliers with airplane experience, you will find this fun to fly. With a better beefed up nose gear, and about a 1/8 inch up elevator at neutral, this plane flies nicely and looks great in the air. It almost reminds me of a BD-5. Wingspan: 29.4 inches Length: 37 inches Weight: 20.5 ounces 64 mm ducted fan brushless outrunner 4 channel, 6 servos, and 1 brushless ESC. When Nitroplanes introduced a "mild powered" Electric Ducted Fan Jet that is fun to fly, many of you saw my review on it. Well Tony at NitroPlanes replaced the motor with a larger one, which really makes this plane scream, so having a couple of extra ducted fan motors from my F-4, I decided to try it too. It is the most powerful fan Nitroplanes has. They are the (KV-3575). I also am using a 4 cell, 14. 8 Lipo rated at 2200 mAh. This jet makes a good one to try this on, because it is made out of EPP foam which is quite strong. The hardest part is not flying out of sight right away, as this baby cooks. The Concept X flies fine as stock for a beginner jet driver, but for those who like a little (lot) extra, just put one of these alloy fans in and have a ball. THis is a jet tiger with the hobby king 2836 edf outrunner 3800kv with a 2200 mah four cell battery. the fan is the 5 blade 64mm also from hobbyking.com and habu landing gear. The concept x is from nitro planes and is their pro version with a 2200 mah 4 cell 30-40c. both planes have to land extremely fast because they are heavy with this set up.

Front View cam mounting. Flying at nearby school in Everett Washington. The Camera is (18G FPV Micro Video Camera) which I received in the main order from ExceedRC This is my second flight. This plane has plenty of power, you can hear the motor strain during vertical climbs. Plenty of stunts and tricks you can do with this plane. Overall its a great deal with everything you need to fly for $149. The instructions are not very good and the glue it comes with sucks. Be sure to use 5 minute epoxy instead. I bent the landing gear landing and land hard. I'm not used to it yet, I think you can avoid doing that quite easily. This is a good performing plane and a great deal. I'm happy with it. So instead "hardcoding" such equipement in the model itself, it can be applied if needed. So a single hardpoint is way more flexible as it might hold a single large weapon, 3 medium sized weapons or 4 smaller weapons (as example). This study will influence the further development of IAWS (check BIS Forums for more info about IAWS). And yes, i know this looks ugly as hell but in this case, form follows function.
