1.Cowabunga! - Originating as a greeting by Chief Thunderthud (the only Indian ever to have a moustache) to the Peanut Gallery on the 50's television program "The Howdy Doody Show! 2.a singular word expressing appreciation of an amusing physical action. 3.Positive, Good, Great, in an aspect greater than 'cool'. This casserole was a must have an incredible entree to wow my dinner guests. One of my guests liked it so much he exclaimed Cowabunga and so the name stuck The recipe has a lot of ingredients and steps, but it is actually very easy. The nice part is that the puff pastry and the filling base can be made in advance. You can spend less time in the kitchen and more time with your guests and still present an awesome, delicious entree and your guests will yell COWABUNGA! COWABUNGA CASSEROLES Ingredients 1 8 oz package Philadelphia Cream Cheese room temperature cut into small pieces 1 Package Puff Pastry Sheets (2 sheets) thawed ¼ lb. small portabella mushrooms chopped ¼ C - unsalted butter ½ C - onion chopped fine 3 - Cloves garlic minced or less or more to taste 1 Tbsp olive oil ¼ C dry white wine 1 Tbsp. heavy cream 1 tsp. chopped parsely ½ lb cleaned peeled and deveined small raw shrimp ½ lb. crab meat or crab meat substitute 1 Tbsp. prepared cocktail sauce (or more to taste) Salt and Pepper to taste. 2 4 ramekins Preparation: Preheat oven to 400 degrees 1.Unwrap puff pastry sheets unroll flat, using rolling pin flatten out the creases and cut 2 circle to match <b>...</b>

Michele Ivey's Cowabunga Corner Blog #2
Welcome to episode 2 of Cowabunga Corner! In this episode I cover the tour that took place in 2009 for 25 years of TMNT. They had a Thomas Bus made into the Turtle Van on the outside. On the Inside, we had a Ninja Turtles Museum with toys, videos, photos, and even storyboard art work. This Tour went across the United States, stopping in cities for meet and greet with fans. This was free to the public, so people could go through and see the history of the Turtles. The main crew on this trip was Mike and Aaron, as they would drive this bus from city to city. These two people were the only ones who appeared at every stop of the tour. In the video I am wearing a crew shirt, though I did not work for the company. This was a gift, and was never worn by me at any of the TMNT stops along the way. The hat I'm wearing is also a gift, though it was not worn at any of the stops either. I did wear one of these hats, from New York to San D, though it shows it's age as the sun took the color from the hat. I decided not to wear it for this blog. Behind me is a folder with photos from the NYC, PA, MI, and IL stops from the tour. I carried this folder with me to each stop to share the beginning of the tour with everyone. It was truly an amazing trip. The back ground music in this video is: Duel by Bond. The contest was being held by Steven Ho, Donatello's stunt double from TMNT 2 & 3. He was offering a story board from TMNT 2 to the winners of the contest. It had to a be a video and/or picture that related back to TMNT 2 some how. I had my dad make two puppets in which I put on a little act as if there was a different casting choice for the Professor from TGRI. Welcome to episode 11 of Cowabunga Corner Season 2. In this episode I talk about the TMNT 2007 movie. This movie came out in March 2007 as the first CGI TMNT Movie. With a lot of high hopes from the fans from the images that was scene before hand, we all had to go in and see what was done for us. Though the movie had a lot of great sides to it and was really fun to watch with good animation, designs for the non human characters, and actions scenes. There was something lacking from the earlier movies. This is not to say I didn't like the movie as I did go to see it 52 times at the main theater, and the first time I saw it I flew my mother and I out ot Hollywood for the premiere on March 17th. My last time seeing it at the main theaters was the day it left the theaters which was May 5th where I threw an open party invite from my myspace page and was giving out Turtle goodies to those who came to the theater for that showing. There wasn't too many of us, but those that did come had fun. I have a lot more to say about this movie than what is spoken about in this one episode of Cowabunga Corner. Though I feel I had to get where I stand about the full movie out as a whole before focusing on scenes, characters, and plot to the fullest of details. I do to this day feel the movie could of been a lot better if a certain fight scene was not 'forced' into the movie. It shoved the real story line into the back ground and made it so Mike & Don were even side characters instead of <b>...</b>

I started this collection in July 1997 when I first met Gary Carlson, Frank Fosco and Andrew Pepoy at Chicago Comic Con with a handful of other TMNT fans who also bought some art work. They were all really awesome to meet. I am a big fan of the Image Comics, and letters can be found from me as well as some other TMNT fans through the letter pages of those comics. It was a fun series that kept us on our toes. Welcome to episode #4 of "Cowabunga Corner". In this episode I speak about "Ninja Turtles : The Next Mutation". A series that was loved when it was aired, though is now left in the dark for the most part. I personally still enjoy the Next Mutation and encourage anyone who have not seen it to give it a try before judging it. A try is more than the first few episodes. Check out some of the later episodes like "Trust Dr. Quease" and "Unchain My Heart". In this episode, I do use a little bit of footage from my visit to the set of the Next Mutation. There will be an episode more focused on the visit, where I talk about what I did and saw. Along with more video footage from the set. Also this episode is the first where we give a sneak peak at what is to come on the blog. We will not do this with every blog, but from time to time we will throw in some footage to lead up to some of the new things to come so people can see we got a lot on the way. The sneak peak shows some of my collection, filming with VH1, the sewers from the Next Mutation and the Words and Pictures Museum with Kevin Eastman. If anyone from Viacom is reading this I do ask, please, give North America a DVD release of Ninja Turtles : The Next Mutation! Bonus Features would be nice, making of video, interviews, commentary. There is a fan base out there that would like this series on DVD.
