I used Hawaiian Silky's gel activator. and I got the method from 20pearlsncurls This product left my hair VERY moist, and I give it 2 thumbs up. My hair texture didn't allow you to see the full benefit of it. Thanks for watching.

I did a wash n go on my natural hair with 2 parts Activator gel for moisture and 1 part Eco styler Olive Oil Gel for curl definition and hold. This style could last me for a week but I go no longer than about 4 days without washing my hair. My hair has hold but with zero crunch thanks to the activator gel. And it is moisturized. The activator gel did not make my hair greasy like a jherri curl. My hair does not smell like one either. lol. I purchased both products at Sally's Beauty Supply. The activator is about $2.50 for 32 ounces. That is cheap. So if you give it a try and don't like it you cannot get mad that you spent a lot of money on it. A Haul on some products I got from Sallys and Whole Foods Products= Whole Foods: Jane carters nourish and shine NOW shea butter and cocoa butter Dr bronners all-one hemp citrus orange pure castile soap Tints of nature conditioning permanent hair colur in 4RR dark henna red Giovanni direct leave in Lily of the desert aloe vera jelly Sallys: Rasta jamiaca mango and lime locking gel Proclaim beeswax natural Recipe for the Curly Hair Pudding: 3 STICKS COCOA BUTTER 1/2 OF JAR OF BEESWAX 2oz 1 32 oz TUB CURL ACTIVATOR (Proclaim activator gel or Ic Fantasia gel with Sparkle Lites) Begin by taking the cocoa butter sticks and placing them in a bowl. Scoop out 1/2 jar of bees wax and place it in the same bowl. Microwave bees wax and cocoa butter until they are liquid. Use an other larger bowl to put the curl activator it. Leave some curl activator inside of the jar for later. Take liquid wax and cocoa butter and pour it into the bowl with the curl activator. Mix vigorously with a spoon. what you will first get while mixing these the two may look like cellulite but be persistant and keep mixing until the mixture looks exactly like vanilla pudding then mix in remander of activator gel in the jar.
