Short History: Dacia (company founded in 1966) started production of Logan back in 2004, when it was announced as a hit for the western european companies. In alliance with Renault, the factory from Pitesti, Romania, conquered 80% of Europe's auto-market, and other countries like Morocco, India, Brazil, Iran etc. Now it produces multiple models: sedans, pick-ups, short-wagons, minivans, and hatch-backs like the most recent model, Dacia Sandero (this is borrowed from Renault, it's more like a change of name, really..). In 2009, Dacia will lay out the ultimate Dacia Logan SUV, and probably, a sport version of Dacia Logan. The prices vary along with the endowments: ~5000 € - 11000€. Dacia Logan 1.5 dCi 70 Lauréate L'arrivée en 2005 de la Logan sur le marché français a constitué un événement : Renault se lançait dans la voiture low cost. La Logan a ensuite été restylée en 2009 pour arborer une face un peu plus avenante que la première version. Le low cost, ça veut dire des prix bas. En la matière, cette Logan fait fort puisqu'elle démarre à 7 600 € en version de base. Notre modèle d'essai est plus cher puisqu'il s'agit d'une version diesel en finition intermédiaire Ambiance. Son prix : 10 400 €, moins 500 € de bonus écologique et nous voilà à moins de 10 000 €, hors option. Cela ne l'empêche pas de garder des attributs de voiture à bas prix, comme les rétroviseurs ou les poignées noirs, et non pas couleur carrosserie. Mais là où se voit sans doute le plus le côté low cost, c'est à l'intérieur. Dans cette voiture de la taille d'une compacte, on n'est plus habitué à trouver une planche de bord au design aussi simple avec des plastiques durs partout. Pourtant, l'ensemble n'est pas indigent et n'attire pas la critique outre mesure. Les commandes sont fonctionnelles, même si quelques détails prêtent à sourire, comme le bruit du clignotant ou le timide petit klaxon de mobylette... Et puis on ne peut s'empêcher de remarquer les rétroviseurs à réglages manuels, mais réglables de l'intérieur quand même. Passons à l'arrière où une excellente surprise vous attend : il ya de la place, beaucoup de place même en considérant le gabarit de la voiture. A moins de 4,30 <b>...</b>
