A 1984 Mercedes-Benz 500 SEL (long wheel-base version) in its original condition at 167000 miles, this automobile was built in Stuttgart Germany during the time when the company stood behind its one-time motto: Engineered Like No Other Car in the World. And it shows. Perhaps almost similar to a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow/Spirit/Spur, the car's V8 engine runs remarkably smooth and quiet for its age. It is also reliable as a daily driver. The noise you hear is the creaking of my dress belt against the leather seat. By the way, I have finally changed the tacky rims to the original wheels after months of searching for a set in pristine condition!

Just a short video showing what it's like, in car...driving around a non-synchro (pro shifted in this case) T5. There's a couple spots where I purposely chunk it up so you can see what different methods seem to do, and I'll try to note those using annotations. There is one spot where I go through first and second gear to about 7000rpm (MASSIVE wheel spin!), so you can see how clean and easy a high rpm shift is. All in all...I'd not trade back for a synchroed version for any reason...and this is my daily driver!

6/24/2010 SOLD!!! This 1993 Accord LX is in awesome condition. It has around 89500 original miles on it. Air, cruise, power locks, power windows, automatic transmission, American Racing alloy wheels. The car had just one owner from when it was new in 1993 until May 2010 when I bought it from a relative as a favor. I had the car detailed inside and out, and have had it serviced etc. It has the original factory paint and upholstery etc. I think the color was called Arcadia Green Pearl. The Pioneer stereo is brand new, has a USB input and supports most current playback formats including iPod and iPhone, also has a remote control. The tires are in very good condition. The front brakes and master cylinder were replaced in March, also the battery. The engine timing belt was replaced around 70000 miles. The car was regularly serviced, have all the paperwork. Also have the owner's manual etc. It was always garaged at night. There are a few minor nicks in the paint and such as would be expected in a car this age. It's not perfect but you're unlikely to find one nicer. This is a super-clean first car for a student, or as a daily driver for someone commuting to work. Never a lit cig in it either. Have the Carfax report too, which is squeaky clean. (sorry about the finger in the top left corner of the image, still getting used to a new camera) Note: The valves have been adjusted since this video was made and the engine is quieter now. The 2012 Porsche Cayman R was one of the most-anticipated cars to ever come through the Roadfly office. The car's stats are simply stunning: 0-60mph in 4.7 sec. 330hp @ 7500rpm, 2855 lb. Even the door handles have been replaced with nylon tabs to reduce weight. The results are predictable. The Cayman R is virtually telepathic, to the point that it nearly bores you. It's so free of vice that you start to feel that it's just like a normal, civilized car, with a tad more immediacy...and you wonder what the big deal is. Only when you go back to your daily driver do you realize how responsive the Cayman actually is. It's a nearly perfect machine. It makes few compromises that interfere with spirited driving, but still manages to be completely docile, tractable, and even practical with its two trunks and stellar reliability. It also gets great fuel mileage, at 19 city and 27 highway when equipped with the 6-speed manual. Ever gone to a movie that didn't blow you away at first, but weeks later you're still thinking about it and can't get it out of your head? That's what my days with the Cayman R left me with. This car is definitely on my 'short list' of cars I want to own before I die. It's slightly expensive with a starting MSRP of $66300, but given how well-built Porsches are in general and how good their resale values are, the price is fair in my opinion. This is my 1968 Corvette. The Big Block dynoed at 587 HP. This car is not a show car, drag car, nor daily driver. It is simply my fun driving weekend car. I rarely get to see this car from a pedestrian's point of view, since I am usually the one driving, so we decided to make this video while cruising around town. The burnouts were just for fun. The paint scheme is influenced by Baldwin & Motion SS427 / Phase III / GT Corvettes.
