It looks like it will be that time again very soon in just a couple days. The XBOX 360 will be changing its looks because its been said that Microsoft has announced that the New Xbox 360 dashboard update fall 2011 will release on December 6th 2011, thats a Tuesday. This new dashboard update will bringe a metro design to the xbox 360 with new apps such as bing search, ufc, dailymotion etc. Kinect will be able to be used on the entire dashboard using voice recognition and gesture control. The new xbox live dashboard update will also have cloud storage and a new feature called Beacons... which allows you to set a certain game that you will be playing at a certain time for your friends to see so they can get an idea of when you will be coming online. Now of course there are numerous rumors about the new xbox/xbox720/xbox next etc.. but this will make xbox 360 look completely different as it will look just like Microsofts Windows 8. Some video footage showing the fall Xbox Live Dashboard Update has leaked online today, offering a sneak peek at what you can expect from the new look Xbox 360 front-end, which uses a Microsoft design language known as 'Metro' and will bring the dashboard more in line with the Windows Phone 7 user interface. It'll also mean an end to switching between the conventional dashboard and Kinect hub for Kinect users, making for a more seamless and cohesive interface. Or something like that. Whatever the case, it looks rather smart and although the menus are in French, you can still make out what's what. The fall Xbox Live Dashboard Update is rumoured to be arriving on November 15th, 2011, with the official line being 'holiday 2011' for the time being. Check out the video to see what it'll look like.
