However, oftentimes both players effectively defend aggression from the opponent and neither is clearly ahead. Today's daily is an extremely long TvP where both players essentially get up the "money mix" of units. PvP can really feel like one mess of a matchup sometimes. Spending too much energy defending against early attacks can result in a crippled late game! You were ready for a 4gate, but instead your opponent expanded and started colossus tech much earlier! By the time you try to catch up, your opponent has 6 colossus to your 3 and all ground battles seem impossible. What to do! HuK has developed a fairly clean way to open DT defensively, pressure in the midgame while expanding, and still follow things up with a nice colossus timing! We'll be going through 2 variants and discussing some theory throughout :D. THIS BUILD MAKES PVP EASY! :D

Parting has over 80% winrate in PvT against tip top korean players. Despite his wide gamut of play in the matchup, there's a simple, clear consistent attack timing that we explore across 5 games! Parting opens up trying to chrono probes and get as many gates as he can. Following this, he will almost always perform an attack timing at 8-9 minutes that leaves the average Terran scrambling to catch up! Transitioning to the late game, Parting picks up twilight tech and some fairly late forge action :D
