This is a Dieselpunk Rifle that I made completely from parts that I had lying around my house except for the amber bulb. Dieselpunk is like 30's-50's art-deco style mixed with science fiction elements. There aren't many videos with Dieselpunk in them so I thought I'd make a quick rifle to add to them. I really like Dieselpunk(in fact I like it more than Steampunk)so I hope to make more Dieselpunk things. If you have any questions just ask and I'll try my best to answer. This is my Dieselpunk Xbox 360 case mod. I added three lights and a switch. I got the 12v power and ground from under the power plug on the motherboard. I also added a small 12v fan blowing onto the smallest heat sink at the front of the Xbox. It's USB powered so it's only running at 5v but it should help cool. I plan to do some more mods sometime. While on the road, just over 3 years ago, I tried to create a Post Apocalyptic, Warhammer 40k like gun. The out come is this - Ebony. After hours of prep work in the "Battle Worn" WH 40k feel then adding a paint job to it, I managed a pretty good job for a Modded Nerf Maverick. As you can see the paint job, after nearly 3 years of constant nerf wars and casual shootouts, has lasted pretty well with only very minor touch ups. Internal mods include - Air restrictor removal, full barrel extension, and improved and lubed plunger seal. Ranges: Stock darts: 42' average Stephans: 45' average. Here's a Diesel-punk slash post-apocalyptic pistol I made out of a Nerf Secret Shot 1. On top of what you see in the video, I also buffed the spring, cut out some extraneous dead space, and removed what I think must have been the AR's... this is an older gun and I had to sort of guess what part of the gun the AR's were. It's getting 40 flat, which is about double what it started with, though, so I was probably right. Because of this, you can't actually see the dart come out in the first demo shot. This marks my 20th custom gun. Yay, me.
