This video has nothing to do with airplanes or helicopters, just a little more history. Digital guitars, synthesizers, and the new Q-Chord, this time. It plays 84 different chord combinations with the touch of a finger on a flat, textured "strumplate" and more with extra plug in cards. Fully equipped with standard electronic keyboard features and 10 different rhythm styles. The instrument is divided up into three sections; a touch sensitive 'strum plate', a rhythm section, and chord button section. Each of these areas can be used independently or combined. There are many wonderful and varied sounds obtainable from the strum plate and the combination of different musical sounds achievable is both impressive and unusual! When plugged into your stereo or amp, you will not believe the high quality sound. A good guitarist could show this off better than me, but you'll get the idea, as I am only an amateur guitarist. I've had my share of digital guitars, but the You Rock Guitar is in a class by itself with "Touch Sensitive Strings". It is very easy to play and also never needs tuning. Plug this baby into your full size guitar amp and you will be blown away by the sound. The You Rock Guitar is a digital guitar, full fledged MIDI, and game guitar. It's fast, accurate and everyone who touches it says the same thing....it "feels" good to play. Maybe it looks like a toy, but it feels good to me too. Professionals who play it also say "It feels much better than I expected." Part of that is the speed of the triggering, sliding, and articulation, some of that is the unique characteristic of the touch sensitive strings too. I am no professional guitarist, but I can make this thing sound pretty good with a small amp and one of the great chord progressions built in. I can play along with an Ipod, CD player or MP3 player's songs, or even record my own track on the guitar to play back with. I can use it through a midi and even plug it into a small battery powered amp for great fun and sounds anywhere. I've been trying to find a way to make something like this available without hindering an already tight chaotic daily schedule. I threw this together quite fast, so there might be some quirks in it. If it works out, and people find this to be helpful I will try to do more. You'll notice that there is a music track on this vid... It is a quick recording of my older brother doodling out some tunes on his acoustic guitar... Which leads me to my next point-- (and this might sound a little grumpy).. ...I am slowly working on formulas for creating longer tutorial dvd's of art technique for which I will eventually make available on my website... Someday... And in doing this, I am trying to find a good style of music/sound to accompany these vids... This is why there is sound on this vid, when I usually don't feature ANY. I am experimenting with different things, seeing how it fits. The next vid may go back to not having any sound at all. But in all honesty, one of my little pet peeves is people who comment on my channel about the the lack of music on my vids, and how it makes them BORING...
