"Dirty Bomb" Drill in Kingston NY - HD Footage
A some-what large scale drill readying multiple agencies for a radiological "dirty bomb" explosion in downtown Kingston NY. More then 600 Army, National Guard, and civilian first responders participated. The entire drill shut down many streets, and took place right in the middle of Broadway. The exercise basically went like this: Kingston Fire Dept. respond to an explosion in downtown Kingston. After bringing victims to Kingston Hospital, radiation detectors were set off, and multiple agencies were deployed to the area including FBI, Hazmat, and others.
